50mm and Strobing Fever - 07/02/08

After the Wedding Thanksgiving and giving Mom her surprise birthday cake, we stayed and hung out, and Nana as usual asked my 50mm out and she had fun playing with it. Then I taught her how to strobe and she loved it. She's a fast learner, just like Nullie.

Below are photos taken with Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 (it's really sharp, I love that lens.)

Then it's strobing time, these photos were taken using Nikkor 18 - 135mm f/3.5 - 5.6 (very good walkabout lens. Strobing settings, 1/100 f5 with Nikon Speedlight SB600 set to 1/8 0.7 on a Cactus Wireless Flash Trigger.)

This photo is not strobed, *Freestyle!* ;)

while these were strobed, I placed the flash on the dashboard to conceal it.
