The Brunei 9-Ball Championship was on the 7-8th September, 2007. Took place at Indoor Stadium of the Hassanal Bolkiah Stadium Complex. Wu Chia Ching [2 or 3 times World 9-Ball Champion] from Chinese Taipei won the Brunei 9-Ball Invitational Championship with Ricky Yang from Indonesia came 2nd. His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah from Brunei and Dennis Orcollo from Indonesia were the Semi-Finalist.
His Royal Highness The Crown Prince was the only Bruneian who reached the Semi-Finals. And he could have won and went to the Finals [and that would be very cool] but luck wasn't on his side as he missed a lot of shots to the 9th ball. And in one match where he banks the 9 ball and scratched thus giving the frame to Ricky. Better luck next time Your Highness, I know you can make it next time.

The tournament officials, referees and scorersI didn't come for the first round as I can't get out from work, so I came on Saturday and watched the Semis to the Finals. I've seen Wu played in TV before and he was better. He didn't play his 100 percent here. Must be the lack of spectators.
Think the Crown Prince anytime will reach the final, but above all its great that he and BD Federation created this annual event!
